AIRPORT DROP / PICK UP

Transport can be arranged from the Bandaranaike International Airport for Euro 140. Shared taxi options can be arrange. The journey is 5 hours, long but beautiful, you can see elephants and historical sites. Our drivers will stop on route for some Sri Lankan meal, tea and coconuts!

 


SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS

Sigiriya Rock fortress or Lion Rock is situated in the Central Province of Matale near a town called Dambulla. Sri Lanka’s most iconic paintings, the Sigiriya Damsels, can be found halfway up the Lion Rock. After climbing the ancient fortress you can enjoy the stunning views over the surrounding mountains. Sigiriya is one of the most famous touristic place in Sri Lanka.

 


WILPATTU NATIONAL PARK

The Wilpattu National Park is the largest and one of the oldest National Parks in Sri Lanka. It is regarded as one of the best place to spot a leopard in its natural habitat, and is also home to a diverse range of wildlife includind Sloth Bears, Elephants and Crocodiles. The Park is located 26 km north of Puttalam in the northwest coast lowland of Sri Lanka. Don’t forget to bring your camera and some water.

 


1 DAY ANURADHAPURA

Visit Anuradhapura, the greatest monastic city of the ancient world and explore its monasteries and Buddhist temples. In the Mahamewna Gardens you will find the Java Sri Maha Bodhi, a scared fig tree, which is said to be the oldest living human-planted tree in the world. Thousands of pilgrims and tourists visit the sacred tree every weeks to make offerings like fruits and lotus flowers.

 


ANURADHAPURA ANCIENT CITY & DAMBULLA CAVE TEMPLE

In the first part of your trip you visit Anuradhapura and explore its temples and ancient ruins. Then you stop at Dambulla to visit the famous caves full of statues and paintings of Buddha.

 


1 DAY ANURADHAPURA AND MIHINTALE

In the first part of your trip you visit Anuradhapura and explore its temples and ancient ruins. Then in early afternoon you climb up stairs to see the temple of Mihintale near Anuradhapura. At the top of Mihintale mountain you have a magic view on the Cultural Triangle.

 


SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS & SAFARI MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK

Sigiriya and Minneriya are situated in the Central Province of Matale. After breakfast, you will first climb Lion Rock and enjoy the stunning views from the top. Followed in early afternoon by a safari through the National Park of Mineriya, which is reported as the largest known wild Asian Elephant gathering at one place in the world.

 


½ DAY WILPATTU NATIONAL PARK & ½ DAY ANURADHAPURA ANCIENT CITY

The first part of your trip will bring you to the largest National Park in Sri Lanka. Followed in early afternoon by a vsit of Anuradhapura, whre you can explore its temples and ancient ruins. Another famous sight is the Jay Maha Bodhi, a sacred fig tree, which is believed to be the oldest living human-planted tree in the world.

 


ANURADHAPURA ANCIENT CITY & SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS

First you visit Anuradhapura and walk up in the ruins of the city. Then in early afternoon or during the sun set you drive towards Sigiriya to climb the Lion Rock. Anuradhapura and Sigiriya are located in the Cultural Triangle.

 


KANDY

Come in Kandy to visit the Temple Tooth, the Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya or the elephant orphanage of Pinnawala and at 5Pm, you can assist at the traditional dancing show. In Kandy you can walk around of lake to look the colonial architecture.

 


ARUGAM BAY

Arugam bay is located on the east coast in the south, is the best surf spot in Sri Lanka and it’s on the list of the top ten surf spots in the world. The best season of the year to surf is between April until November and you have different spots for amateurs or professionals.

 


TRINCOMALEE

Trincomalee is located on the east coast of the island. The town is renowned for the beaches, surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. Trincomalee’s superb deep-water with Blue whales who are most present between the months of February and November.

 


COLOMBO CITY

Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka offers historical monuments with a colonial architecture. It’s the best place for the shopping, dining and the festivals. If you like the Art come in Colombo to visit the National Museum or a Buddhist temple like The GangaramaVihara.

 


GALLE

Galle is a famous city for the Dutch Fort in the bay of Galle. Inside of the fort you have luxury hotels, a lot of restaurants with local and internationals food, a school, some churches and mosques. Come to Galle and take a drink during the sun set front of the Indian Ocean in the Dutch Fort.

 


KANDY, PINNAWELA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE

Pinnawela orphanage is situated near of Kandy and it was established 1975. Each morning (10:00 Am) and afternoon (14:00 Pm) the animals are walked until the river to play and for a two hours bath. The Elephant Orphanage has become one of the most popular touristic destinations in Sri Lanka.
